Default Converting from EFI to carb

I have a 255lph in-tank fuel pump on my supercharged 93 LX. I am going to convert to carb but retain the supercharger. Can I use the EFI fuel pump with a carb FPR? Or is the inlet pressure way too high? If so, does someone make one that can do both?

Im not sure but i don't think you can use that pump for your applicaition although it flows good there not designed for the continuos running they would be subjected to with a carb maybe some one else could elaborate.

well bro it all depends on the psi of the fuel pump you need to have at least 80psi and no more than 90psi so just find out what psi your pump is. and as for where to find another pump just go to Summit Racing - High Performance Car and Truck Parts | 800-230-3030 and just look at the fuel pumps there. i have an inline and it works good.

Why are you going from EFI to carb?

Do not use the EFI pump. You'll never get the pressure and flow dialed in right. Do not leave the EFI in place in an attempt to control spark advance. You do that and you'll be next guy stranded on the side of the road, I can guarantee that. Why are you switching to carb?
To run carb you'll have to pull the fuel pump out and fabricate a pickup tube and strainder sock to replace it. You can have a sump fabricated and welded into your existing tank also. You say we want to keep the supercharger? Keep the EFI in place. You'll be saving a lot of headaches and money.

Why go from nice, responsive, and efficient FI, to a carb?
