Default 3.31 Rear Gears top speed?

Anyone know what or how to caculate the top speed of gears?
I have 3.31 gears with 17" stock rims and automatic tranny on my 07 GT. I want to know the maximum top speed producable with the 3.31's

Um, I dunno, but I can hit 145 or so with stock gears in my 94, and it still pulls.

Your looking at well over 200 mph, if you had enough power. Use this calculator Ford Mustang: Mustang Tech: Calculators & Decoders: RPM Calculator The drag and lack of power will almost always limit your speed. But you could swap to 410s and probably go faster because it would put the engine in its powerband at higher speeds.

anyone ever compare the speedo to gps to see how much its off from actual speed? imo and experiance 5-10% error is common in cars trucks and motorcycle speedo`s. so if its more like 10% then your actually possibly only going 130 when it reads 145. this was the case with my last vehical when i gps`d it at 75mph on the speedo it was actually only showing around 70 on the gps. different tires can affect it as much as gearing.

umm... the speedometer is not whats off, the GPS is whats off, i have been going over 100 and it read 80 because it couldn't keep up, the speedometer can be off with tires if you dont get a tune for that size tires but not over 20 mph off....

really dont think id trust a speedo over a gps. besides i was only asking as a reference to see if anyone has checked speedo error. i know you can replace speedo gears to correct for rear end ratio`s. and some tuners can further correct speedometer errors. and what i did refer to was a different vehical with a 5mph variance at 75mph.

GPS's have a 10-15 ft error in them, because they do not know how big vehicles are. so you might be 30 feet from a turn and it says turn in 10 ft..... thats why gps's are off on the speedo also, because it it just getting a rough estimated speed, mine is normally off by about 5mph. and I have checked my speedo with a radar gun, those are off by most of 1/2 mph
