My 05 with a Procharger reads the same at idle, it will only show boost when it spools up and shuts the vacuum blow off valve (3000 rpm for me) and then it will go up to 10 PSI

it reads around 12 at idle for me. I think it depends on your cam too. I have a V-2

thanks for all the input . The reason I was asking is that i dont always get a consistant reading . Sometimes i'll start the car and only get 5-10 vacuum . i have already had to send the gauge and the map sensor back to Autometer once and i was wondering if maybe its bad ?

The readings will change based on a number of things, one being the idle speed.
