I am starting to get my nitrous stuff together and this idea came to me. There is no pressure gauge on my bottle which is no big deal. I thought maybe run another line into the control panel with my switches to put the gauge on. (see diagram) Will having a T in the line affect pressure, liquid or accuracy of the reading? Also thoughts on a line-end in the car. Is there an electric sending unit for nitrous pressure, I have not seen any?
I would like to know if this is legal according to dragracing rules because I would like to get a guage that I can see in the driver's seat beacuase I'm going to get a bottle warmer for my nitrous kit and want to see what the pressure is at any time.
As for you hooking it up like you showed, that should pose no problem for the delivery of the nitrous to the engine. As long as the valve is open on the bottle it will give you an accurate reading on the system pressure.

i 99% sure that the track rules say that no n2o or fuel gauges are alowed in side the car unless the are electronical! no mech. gauges!
i know it sounds weird but , i have 2 gauges for my n2o... one on the bottle and one inside my cowl hood... i like to make sure they both read the same psi! my buddy had a gauge that was defective and it would say 900psi when it was relly 1100psi... he kept leaning out and detenating! we tryed my gauges and we found the prob. Good thing he didnt melt a piston!

The DynoTune nitrous gauges is what I would recommend if you would like to have a pressure reading in the cab. DON'T run a mechanical gauge in the car...same problems as a mechanical fuel pressure gauge...it's a no-no. Here's the one I was going to pick up.
