Hey all,

I'm looking at adding nitrous to my car, but I am concerned with the legality of it (I'm not in Cali thank god.) Anyone know specifics on it such as it's legal but only under 65psi, etc?

Depends on where you live. Most states allow it to be installed on your car, but don't allow it's use on public roads. Other states ban nitrous in passenger cars all together.

Up here in Maine, as long as it's not on, ie. bottle is turned off, you are in good shape. I would not get one of the electric bottle openers just incase. I would think that if you take the line off the bottle and leave everything else in place you should be all set. But I'd check with local inspection station, (if your cars need inspection stickers, they'd be the ones to ask)

bottle has to be disconnected but you can have it in the car cannot run it on the streets
