Default 1994 V6 Engine Rebuild Questions

Hi, I blew the engine in my V6 so i ordered a new one. So before I put it in, I want to bore it out and get a stroker kit but i'm not too sure on how that whole operation works. I know how they get bored out but what kind of HP can it release. Just a rundown would be great thanks.
