it's turbo for me. supercharger is practical though but since you're gonna spend anyways, might as well go all out. ive tried both and turbo literally blew me away. for me, it's all about the homestretch...
Yeah I got the KB in the 03 Cobra and Vortech In the 40th anniversary...Honestly I love them both....But KB's Got one of the Best Superchargers...I think.
Don't forget about the new Twin Vortecis being produced by Magnuson. They are litrealy kicking the crap out of every body else. 750 with a 1.9L and a 1000 with a 2.3L.
I'm interested in Rotrex from Forced Air Performance. Their SC acts both as a twin screw and centrifugal SC. Meaning you'll have the instant boost of a TS and the power in the upper rpms of a Centrifugal. I hope they make a kit for the New Edges(I think they are in the process of making one)

That would be great, but it just doesnt sound reliable to me for some reason. Have they actually tested it?

Thats not necessarily true. What is a lot of power to you? I know there are tons of turbo'd stangs with a fulll build engine making big power. But they are couple people here on this site running positive displacement blowers on built engine making 700+rwhp. Its just different kind of power. They key to BIG power is building the engine. Another thing you dont have to worry about boost lag with a t/s supercharger, you make it a as soon as you step on it.

Not many know about this SC, I really haven't researched it much honestly but will. I too thought of something fishy about this kit, but one of our members Becca I believe (sorry if I spelled that wrong if you read this) uses this SC and loves it. They have the kit for the S197's for now and are (I hope) making one for the New Edges and early SN95's.

TURBO's FOREVER. though i be happy with either b/c superchargers are cool but if i was going all out i would rather have a turbo i think they feel and sound beter also belive they perform better

What does it look like and where does it sit on the engine? Anyone have a pic of this?

I sits in like a centrifugal SC. They only have a kit for the S197's currently. If you want to check them out, just type in Forced Air Performance.com.

Or type Rotrex S/C into Google. Independent oiling system, small unit, big dollars. $6000.00 and no tuner. Made in Denmark. I wish the dyno sheet was clearer, but it looks like 375 torque x 400 horse.

Yeah, the dyno sheet was kind hard to read. I wonder if Becca has a dyno sheet for her car. Hers is making about 475rwhp I believe(I think).
