if u are short on cash then a supercharger is outa the quesyion cuz they cost round $4000...a cheap tune that is great is gettin a tuner chip or handheld..i bought a Superchips MaxMicro Tuner for about $300 and it works amazing..it gets all the extra power outa ur car while increases mpg and acceleration..it adds bout 20hp

Default faster on the cheap

If you want to do a tune instead of NO2, I did a SCT tuned by Evolution Performance in my 06 Automatic. They do the tune with the JLT cold air intact as a package. Autos from the dealership typically run 14.0-14.1. I ran 13.5. with just the filter & tune kit and 3:73 gears - on the M&S Perilli's. As far as I'm concrened, these cars need to be tunes. And the bonus was that when I got the Whipple installed, they reused the tuner, so I didn't have to buy a new one. I do have a leftover cold air kit sitting in the garage that I might be able to sell and recoup some of my costs.

Default Increase Performance

Hey guys, what are some things that I can do to my car to increase things like performance and gas milage. It's a 09 GT Premium. I know it doesn't make much sense to get a V8 and then ask questions about how to increase the MPG, but my line of thinking is that if you are going to get a muscle car, you might as well do it right.

Thanks,

Luke

CAI+Tune, UDP's, and a more free-flowing exhaust will all give you more power while bumping up your gas mileage
