Hey everyone,
i am looking to buy a supercharger, what is a good but affordable supercharger, and i was looking at some sites and found a sort of clutch for it so what it dose is it swichs to pully to free spin so it dose not creat boost and changes the computer setting so it gets better MPG, is this a hox???

Last one of these I saw was the one on Mel Gibson's car.

In general terms, superchargers fall under 2 main categories: centrifugal blowers (like the ProChargers, VorTechs, etc) that are mounted in front of the engine, and positive displacement blowers (like the 03/04 Cobra M112, KenneBell, Whipple, Saleen, or Rousch) which mount on top of the engine.

The centrifugal blowers are usually cheaper to buy than the positive displacement SC's and love high rpms. The positive displacement superchargers are more of an OE installation, cost a bit more, and love to produce torque at low rpms.

No i dont remember the site and i really havent looked for it again cuz i thought it was a hax but the more you think about it... the more i come to think it could be done and pretty easy... just use they same principals as how ur altinator works (how it charges and once the batt is charged, the belt just free spins)... so what do you think.. the site had no pics and didnt really explain it thays y i thought the 400 buck part was fake.

i have a 3.8l mustang and i bought a eaton m90 supercharger and i have no idea where 2 start 2 put it in i no i still need 2 get a innercooler (i think but pritty sure) i don't no where 2 mount it or anything the m90 is off a 1990 cougar if anyone can please help with pictures and anything i'd need and links 2 sites that might help please
