How much power would a shaker system really add?

I have an 08 GT and I am looking to add a little more power without risking messing something up. I am thinking about the shaker system but wasnt sure if it would really do that much good.

Would love to hear from others that made the transition. I already have a K&N CAI.

Shaker really doesn't add much. It's mainly for really cool looks

Thanks for the response.... thinking if that is the case I prefer the hood scoop look. Not 100% sold on the shaker look but since I am female, I could change my mide and any time.

the shaker would most def be nice and a different look than a lot of mustangs out there.

Yeah ya wont notice much in performance, but ill admit they look awesome on these cars.

the shaker system adds 2% hp, ur looking at gaining 6hp..its a hefty price for so little. u could by cams, gears, almost anything in the world for more hp then that offers for its price.

WERD TO THAT MAN! My wife does the same thing, it does keep me on my toes though so I kind of like it!

If you decide to get a hood scoop back after you install the shakker hood and have cut into it, you can always use it as an excuse to buy a new custom hood
