Have you gotten a dyno tune or are you still running a canned tune?

I sent a programmable tuner to a tune shop and they put 3 tunes into it that they said would work for my set up. a light power tune, a medium power tune, and high power tune. I never did take it in to a dyno and have it set up at a shop as the nearest one to me would be 5 hours away. However I would make the trip to the city if I though that it would help. It will do this on the highway as well so maybe a tune would take care of it?

Might not be a programming issue at all. Could be to do with your bypass setup. When the throttle plate is closed the excess bost has to have a release. If you have the bypass valve hooked up to a vacuum tap make sure it is a primary with full vacuum at closed throttle positon to ensure the valve is actuated.

+1 on the bypass train of thought. But definitely get the car to a dyno where the A/F ratio can be checked regardless of what the problem is.
