Head work planned, need suggestions

I am planning on getting my superhcarger later in the year and I am considering doing some headwork before. I wanted to get my heads port and polished and the mechanic suggested I go ahead and get a SHM blower cam while he has the heads off. He mentioned I would still see a gain even without the blower but there would be significant difference once blower is installed. Maybe even upgrade the springs.

Does this sound reasonable? Will I see much from these mods? While my car is there I am getting long tubes, 3.73, and pulleys. These I am not worried about because I know what to expect.

Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I am new to this.

I agree with the guy, the SC definately can use a better cam and more reliable springs.
