im a few days away from being the proud owner of a bone stock 2004 mustang cobra with 12,000 miles. im planning on upgrading the stock supercharger to the kenne bell when i save up enough. the first things ill do to the car is put a new exhaust system, put a k&n in it, after this im stuck. i know there must be more i can do to it to increase the horsepower. i need some guidance on what to do. ive been reading around and ive noticed people talking about pulley changes.
get a different pulley. a 3.1 inch pulley will inrease boost 1-2 psi and a 2.81 inch pulley will increase boost 4-5 psi. This will work nicely with the upgraded exhaust. They cost about $80 depending where you buy them. remember to get a pulley puller though.

Pulley, cat back, cold air intake and a TUNE. An absolute MUST at that point. Can't just ad 4 pounds of boost and not retune, or at least check AFR on the dyno. Then the infamous 03-04 Cobra wheel hop will start. Will talk about that later.
