Question Supercharger

Im thinking about droping a supercharger into my 93' 5.0, 5spd. I currenty have full length headers, off road h-pipe, bbk col air intake with mass air meter. Before I put on the blower I was going to put on a GT-40 upper and lower intake manifold with a 70mm throttle body. This is all I was planning on doing before I installed it. Does anyone know of anything else I would need to install before I could put the blower kit on? I was looking into one that would give me about a 100 hp increase. Also what will it do to my gas milage?
Thanks

I went with the Kenne Bell whipple charger 1.5 cfm on a GT-40 lower intake. No upper is required for this charger since it sits directly on top of the lower intake and replaces the upper one. It is a very streetable charger that will give you about 100 hp and tons of torque at lower rmps.

Dale I am thinking of going the Kenne Bell route on my 92. Thinking the extra torque in the low RPM's would make it a good match for my 92 5.0automatic.

put a breather oul cap or when you build boost it may force oil out of the dipstick opening onto the headers making your car smoke alot like its a bug fogger.

Interesting and good tip. I never thought about that but it never happened to me so I guess I got lucky. I did have my dipstick secured against some of the AC lines to help hold it in place.

May want to consider adding a larger intake fuel pump and injectors if you haven't already. I had to do it after the sc install and my 30#'s still are not enough without my fmu. Good luck.

My Incon Twin Turbo kit came with one-way check valves. They allow vacuum at idle and cruizing speed then shut off at boost. Pressurizing the block is no problem, it doesn't happen.

I would suggest using them in you vacuum system.
