Default Which power adder is best?

I have a 01 Gt and was just wondering which adder would be the best. I know some of the people on the board have used each kind of adder and I am just looking for some feedback. Where I live there are not many people who have messed with the 4.6's so I am needing some info from some people who have messed with them. I am really considering NOS for the price to power ratio but I am not completely sure. Any help would be great.

Well, while the most HP increase would be from a turbo setup, most don't like to go with the custom fabrication to do it. Or, the prices are usually higher. As far as Superchargers go, which I will call 2nd most consistant HP gain, you can usually gain anywhere from 50-150% HP increase. The most popular it seems would be Vortec, Paxton, Kenne Bell, and my favorite ProCharger. The Ladies and gentlemen can share their favs with you for your best amount of help, but it really depends on what you really want from it. I want a supercharger thats easy bolt on (no fabrication) Quiet, dont have to tap into oil lines and comes with an aftercooler. The P-1SC is just all that. of course some like blower whine and some want name brand.
As far as giggle gas, you can see a good 75-100HP on a stock engine with little or no trouble. Of course when I say this I recommend the proper solenoids, purge valves, saftey cutoffs etc. this (being 3rd most powerful) isnt consistant cuz your engine cant breathe it all the time, but for a quick 2-3 hour bolt on and cheapest route, you have yourself a lil pick-me-up. Like I said, the folks (did i just say folks?) on here are more than happy to share their experiences. In a way, its like we all help you build your car... but we stick you with the bill :-)
Geez Im "long-winded" like another moderator here...its contagious.

Adam,

Do you mean Scott when you say "long-winded"

I've got two words TURBO, TURBO.

Man I love the sound my twins make. And when the siblings get to fighting, there is the intercooler to calm them down so they will play nice with each other.

As you can tell, I like the turbo route. When not under boost they are just idling. They actually give me better mpg. I've gotten up to 27mpg @70 mph, But I’ve gotten the worst of 7mpg @ ?mph. They will come up on full boost faster then a blower. I did not say up on boost faster, I said “FULL BOOST”. My turbos are at full boost by 2500rpm

I would never say anything bad about a fellow moderator, if you took that as to mean scott, then thats your issue. ;-)
Hey Tone-man, You have too many refrences to children in your post. lol... cars and kids... i choose cars. I agree for the best HP gain, Turbos the way to go, But i dont know any company that has a direct bolt on turbo setup for the 01. Mods will have to be done which will cost moolah or time if you know what you're doing.

Hi everybody, i'm new to this forum, so i though I'd start by shooting my mouth off!

Turbos are expensive but there is a company that makes a "bolt in" kit for a 01 stang, Turbo Driven Concepts. (www.turbodrivenconcepts.com)
I'm saving for mine now

Joe.

Incon too, but they are having some issues right now. They will have a few 5.0 kits soon and smog legal!

Leave a message if no answer. Tom is very busy, and may be in the back putting kits together

Your right Adam. Turbos are more $$$$. And I can't help it I'm a dad
