Default Turbo charger opinions

The horizon grows ever closer
I'm between Hellion and HPP systems, the powerhouse and turbonetics kits aren't really swaying me. SO here it is:
HPP has a shop near me in Dallas, my friend got his 2007 Shelby GT w/ Paxton Novi 1200 charger tuned there this week, they gave him a 30 rwhp gain with similair increases in torque. Up from ~415 rwhp and something like 398 ft/lb. It'll also only cost me ~$4,300 + shipping to buy since I already have the diablo tuner offered in the kit. I'm not sure whether or not the HPP shop will give me an install discount. but they've got solid rep between my friends.
This kit will also come with a Ford GT fuel pump, as well as the set of 39# injectors, while the Hellion does not list a fuel pump to be included in the system but will come with 39# injectors just the same.

Hellion power systems also has a high approval rating, and the videos and dyno's I've seen really impress me. And their base kit has a higher top-end than the stage 1 HPP. However that doesn't really concern me since I'm not looking to go above 450rwhp Hellion is base priced at $4,995 +shipping.

Both have testimonials saying that cars that had the kits installed on them report 0 problems after xx,xxx miles, etc. The ambiguous thing I've yet to be able to get a solid answer on is when full boost kicks in. Some say it's no later than 2,900 RPM, others say HPP kicks in at 3,100 while hellion kicks in earlier. These kits satisfy my desires of wanting a fast daily driver, that I can take to the track when the opportunity arises, but without looking to push 1/4 numbers below 12's.

What are your expieriences with these turbos AFM? Was it everything you wanted? Was customer service good? Did your kit come missing parts? How long did your systems take to ship?
It boils down to if HPP holds up to be the kit it is with decent customer support I'll be going with them.

ok for starters, after u get that fancy new setup of yours, somewhere down the road you will have a question here or there that needs anwsering. And that's where a trustworthy shop comes in. If it's a coin flip betwene HPP and hellion you have to remember that hellion mass produces their kits while HPP is a buisness that if they do not produce customer satisfaction they would go out of buisness in a hurry... I have personally done a lot of buisness with these guys and the only complaint I have is sometimes they take a little longer than others. But all of my stuff was done right the first time. And that's what counts in my book. if you have any questions about their shop mail me at cobra_03svt@yahoo.com

Boost coming in has everything to do with turbine housing A/R and cam selection. I have a 76mm Turbonetics .96 A/R. The lower the A/R ratio the sooner you will make boost, but in turn it will not last in upper rpm's. I start to make boost @ 3000 rpm full Boost @ 4000 rpm. Rear gears have a Big part of how long you are in boost,Turbos make boost when engine is under a load. Thats why with a Higher gear ratio you will make boost longer.

BTW I have 355 rear gears and 26 inch tall tires for the street, 28" for the track.
