Hey guys I bought the diablo tuner today, and hooked it up, the thng uploaded the original settings, saved them, and then I installed the 93 Octain tune, I did go in and modify some shift points, and thats all, the car wont shift out of 1st gear now, and the tuner will not download the original tune, WTF did I just drop $400.00 on this dang thing to screw my car up, I read the manual, I did exactley as it said, ( Go to custom tune, select download Original, then it prompts me to turn off ignition, then turn on ignition, and bam UNABLE to DOWNLOAD TUNE, then goes to restore original tune selsecting okay and same crap, when I try the Force its for Dealer only, and I dont have the password to force the original tune...................! Does anyone have the password, because at this point, without having Tech support on the weekends, it's going to be kind of hard to make it to work on Monday....

Are you sure you got the correct model tuner to fit your car? What car do you have and what tuner model? Also check to see it the latest revision is loaded in your Predator. You did heed the warning about playing the radio or opening or closing windows or doors while the tuner is working, didn't you? Speaking from experience I found that ANY DISRUPTION in the electrical system while the tuner is working can screw up the download. Other than turning the ignition switch on or off as prompted, nothing else should be done.
Yeah I made sure to read all the instructions on the tuner before ever operating it. I had no power on at all, but when the tuner originally plauued in it kicked the fan cooling fan on for some reason. The model tuner is for a 1998 - 2004 mustang gt. Version 9r.0.v so Im assuming it is the latest and most up to date for my car. It does give a P1000 trouble code I cant clear which is OBD II test not able to complete. but of course if I have the tuner hooked to it, that would make since to me, the port is occupied...

True the port is occupied but the port is parallel I believe and your tuner should not cause a code. I think that I would contact DiabloSport tomorrow and let them know what is going on. I'm sure they can help you clear things up.
