I have a buddy with a cummins turbo diesel ans he's replacing the turbo with a bigger one and he said he would give me his old one a holset hx 35 and I could just have it rebuilt and walla a very discounted turbo so would this work for my car or would I not be able to spool it ??? and finally would anyone know if it would slap onto a tma turbo kit and if not how would I find out if it would?
probally not. your gonna have alot of trouble spooling that turbo with a stock engine, not to mention you would have to get a custom turbo manifold made to fit that flange.

Yeah, that turbo is made for a large displacement low RPM engine. If you're in the market for discounted turbo's, look into the ones from older Mercedes diesels. I saw a guy with an absolutely SICK twin turbo setup and he used those. He made mountains of power with that setup.
