Default 1989 Mustang 5.0 turbo computer

I just finished putting a turbo on my 1989 5.0 mustang. It has 38lb injectors and matching mass air flow. I got the turbo for free and its off of a 6.5 liter chevy diesel. So far i've tuned it with my fuel pressure and timing and boost amounts and i'm keeping track of my air/fuel ratio with a pyrometer. What i'm wondering is it worth it for me to buy a computer for it and tune it like that too?
Thanks.

well that would be best way but i have a sc on my 95 wich has a comp. without tune compared to yours.i use fuel pressure and timing untill i can afford a tweecer rt or anderson.so tes possible not best tuning method they keep telling me it will blow without tune.2500 miles with my foot to the floor.you will pick up some horsepower because you can get agressive with timing if a good tuner does it.keep timing under 10 and fuel pressure around 55 if you do not have a boost sensitive reg.i use a btm for timing and fmu(not installed need new disc)for fuel pressure under boost.i hope i helped and did not make worse for ya
