Default Why do blowers always have 2 carbs?

I always see cars with blowers that have the raisers and 2 carbs.. why 2 instead of one?

they don't always have 2 carbs... in fact, the one I've got picked out for my pickup in the distant future has just 1...

the reason for 2 is, the blower sucks in all the air/gas it can, and sometimes, it sucks well enough that you can't get enough gas for the proper air/fuel ratio with just one carb... make sense?

Now that's yellow! And I'm green with envy! Is that thing in your trunk the warp drive?

I'm pretty sure he means your standard screw type overhead chevy set-up blower. Not the paxton snap on spinner type.

But they can work with one carb, two carbs, 6 carbs, or EFI. Very flexible. I'll take a super over a turbo any time.

Mad Max,

I got the Paxton from Craig Connly at 760-740-0954. He now has the rights to the old style Paxtons, he also is the support for this type.

I noticed the you don't have that picture in your gallery. What's up with that?

PS: does craig have a web page for the paxtons?
