Default 2004 V6 3.9L Mustang new exhaust question

Does anyone agree that this is a good price to performance ratio for the exhaust system? >> http://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-...0%5E1%5E359.99 Thanks for the help!

No I don't think you should go with that one. There are other sites to look at besides americanmuscle.com. Try out other sites like mcrparts.com and myhotmustang.com. I've been finding alot more stuff for my 3.9. We have the exact same car besides the convertible. An 8-13 increase isn't worth $350.00 for something that might not fit on your car.

If you look at that system, it is still coming off of your y-pipe. The hp increases will not be as much as advertised because you are still bottlenecking at the junction. A good true dual exhaust system will net you bigger gains for the same price......

Look over in the V6 section. There are a ton of exhaust threads there.

Thanks for the advice fellas. I have learned a lot from this and other sites since I made this thread two weeks ago, and I just ordered my final decision like two days ago. I went with a MAC catback (not one that connects to the Y pipe) and I am going to have two straight pipes fabricated to make it a true dual setup (no crossover).
