Cool,

I was beginning feel like Tigger, The only one!

I was wondering if people do not understand the advantage of a turbo or they just do not understand turbos

I'm actually hoping to have 2 turbo cars within the next year. I'm going to sell my '93 4 banger and buy an older fox and convert that to a turbo car, and then I've got this Holset HX40 turbo here that I'm hoping to put on the coupe before too long.

I have two. My Incon 91 LX and a 84 Turbo GT 4 banger. Both are not running right now. The Incon car should be by August or sooner. Running a 336 Scat stroker, R302, etc. Should scare the h@#$ out of me. The Turbo GT, well I'm just collecting the parts to restore her

Default Turbos

I hope to have my Incon TT coupe running by Sunday afternoon, again.

I lost a water coolant line from the driver-side turbo to the block and overheated my motor before I figured out what was causing it. I've got my heads at a machine shop for inspection and decking (if necessary). I know at a minimum I had blown out the gaskets around all four water passages on the cylinder heads.

I guarantee I'll be more careful next time. PITA to change the head gaskets with the motor in the car, but I'm getting through it.

I, myself, wouldn't even try to pull my heads in the car. Tight as h@#$! Tom & Patrick @ Incon said you could install/uninstall the turbo's in the car. We pulled the engine to install. I curse to much when things are tight.

Man I hope Incon sticks around. Really nice stuff!!! I wish Patrick was still there, he was allot of help.

Anyway let us know when your up-n-running

Hey, where did you guys get info on the Incon turbos? I tried their website but it no longer works? the package seems like a really good deal. I found alot of people that say good things about the kit, but I couldn't get any info from the company. I also heard alot about a one year wait. what is the wait for? thanks for the help.

Fordman,

Unfortunately Incon has had some problems. I have been in contact with Tom @ Incon. They have been having supply issues. That has created a problem with getting the kits out. What this means is that Incon is not taking any new orders. Tom is trying to get the orders he has out. Then they will be regrouping and try again. This is what I'm told by Incon

Incon really makes an excellent system. I wish them the best of luck.

Default guess I'll wait

Well, that should give me time to rebuild the engine(want to make sure it's in excellent shape before all that power). Any suggestions on what mods I should do to get ready for the kit? when I'm done, I just want a streetable daily driver that will run high 11's to mid 12's.

With the Incon kit, It doesn't take much!

Bolt on some good heads, intake, 65mm T/B, free flowing exhaust like Magnaflow, sub-frame connecters, some rear control arms, and a pair of slicks. You'll run 11's all day long. Then turn around and drive home, no problems.

Tom said for every pound of boost, you get approx 30hp

I ran 12.40 with a bone stock 112k long block. And stock means stock, cam and all. Found out later I had a blown head gasket, and a few other problems.

I'm building a 336 with ported Trick Flows, port RPM intake, stock cam w/1.7 roller rockers. We guess-a-mated around 650hp when all is said and done. My machinest thinks it will be more like 700hp. We'll see!

Incon's kit is amazing...I've got a friend with a cobra intake, roller rockers, and the incon kit that's running 11.70's @ 122+

WOW! I'd love for my car to go that fast! Tell the guys at Incon to let us know when they'll be caught up so they can take new orders.

Ok, I just got off the phone with Tom @ Incon. Tom is still plugging along trying to get orders out. He informed me that he would have a few 5.0L kits available soon
