Default Tuning a S/C 'stang?! I'm clueless...

I just put a used s-trim on my 96 GT. I got the supercharger, T-rex pump, 30# injectors, Vortech fmu, & Pro-Flow MA. Its otherwise bone stock. Is there any reason to believe that I'm not getting all the kit is supposed to do? What about plugs, ignition system, timing, etc?
The boost gauge I put on says I'm getting near 10 psi at WOT, don't know how accurate that is. Obvious performance increase, either way. I just want to be sure that I'm getting all there is with the current setup before going any further down the never-ending quest for power. To be completely honest, I thought superchargers were pretty much a bolt-on and go deal...then I found this website and read all about "tuning" the setup. Any help is appreciated...

Take it to a good dyno tuner and have him tune a custom chip for it. I would recommend not getting on it until you do so, otherwise you might do serious damage to your engine. SC's are bolt on and go but a tune is a must to get the most out of your combo safely.

I have had a vortech for 10 years on my 93 Cobra. I currently have a twEECer R/T, but at your level that is probably not neccessary. I don't like chips, but it would be a good starting point. I made 450 rwhp without any tuning aids other than playing with fuel pressure and timing. With 10#'s of boost you really should try to get it on a dyno with a wideband to check your air/fuel ratio.

Good luck and have fun.

You would be smart, to go to someone, with a dyno setup, and let themtune it. They will give you a peoper tune, you will avoid wrecking your motor!
