Roots style, like mine. Nothing else is louder.

Go with the vortech or a paxton with a cogged belt.

Hell, the cobra and lightning roots style eatons are pretty loud. Loud enough for me, remember like loud exhaust a really loud whine by a sc can be annoying after a while.

I second that opinion

I third that... Vortech's are ussually pretty loud. The pro-chargers are suppose to be quiet.

A cogged blower on the street isn't a good idea. With the stop and go nature of everyday driving, a motor is going to force that blower to see all the downshifting, stop and go style driving and jerk the internals around, whereas a serpentine drive will give a little in the slippage deparment, and be a little nicer. In most ways, slip isn't a problem.

I say a Novi 2000 will give you one hell of a whistle. TRUST ME.

Procharger is the loudest. I run a P600B and it screams. I've heard a Novi2000, 3 S-trims and a T-trim. None of them compare to mine.

IMHO the Vortech V-1 S-Trim is probably the loudest. The Pro-chargers Ive heard (dont remember which model) have a nice whine to them but the V1 S-Trim sounds like a damn blender! Remember the V-1's are louder than V-2 SQ's.

What I do like about the Pro-charger's is that they are self contained so you dont have to tap the oil pan. You dont have that option with any of the Vortechs.
