Default Vortech S-Trim oil suppy? return?

I am think of upgrading my supercharger to a Vortech S-Trim pretty soon..I was wondering were does the oil suppy line go to? And is there a return Line? Thanks looking to make around 6-9psi..I am selling my old paxton supercharger to get a polished S trim..thanks

Oil supply lines usually come from your oil pressure gauge line. You add a T adapter to it. As far as a return line, it is usually punched and tapped into your oil pan.

Yea I always seen the red line on the blower going across the motor in all the pics/mags..I was wondering where the feed was and return..I got it now thanks.

Is the S trim a noisy blower??

The S trim is very quiet. FYI, punching the oil pan is a real pain.

I agree Mark..... It should be done when the oil pan is out of the car. You don't want shavings in the bottom end.......

I agree about the oil pan.I sold my turbo gsxr 1000..Thats what I did when I put the turbo return line in..

I need to get injectors/MAF and sell my old supercharger before I can do this..Does anyone have any tips or advice when installing The S trim style blower

I punched mine with the oil pan still on and didn't run into any problems, however taking the pan off would make life lots easer. Also its a pipe tap you need to use.

how much power are you looking to be putting down with the new Vortech?

Looking to make 300 to 350 at the wheels.Nothing to crazy, I think its capable of doing with a S trim

Noise will depend on what gear case you have. V-1 has straight cut gears and is real loud, V-2 has helicut gears that are quiet.
And the new V-3 is the same as V-2 but has internal lubrication meaning no punching holes in the oil pan or running oil lines.

No problem. Most kits now are shipping with the V-3 unit which would be the best one to get. If your looking for prices let me know I have a good hook up on Vortechs!
