with 5g i would put a set of longtube headers, ported heads, 4:10gears, maybe a 75 shot of nitrous. you would still have money left over.

i actually dont really have an idea of exactly how much power you would make. I can tell you that you would definitely feel the difference

with a set of heads depending on what type and a set of long tubes it could give you around another 60-80 hp. Not counting the 75 shot of juice. Gear wont give you any. There very nice and it's a great bang for your buck because it brings your power band down to the lower to mid rpms (street and strip racing). Rather the mid to high (tended for highway).

yea exactly the 4:10s are great they make every gear pull harder, it makes the other mods you do much more usable.

I am guessing your car is 1985 or older?

If you have $5k buy a 94-95 gt 5.0l 5 speed
Put the trick flow or holley kit on it buy 21 lb injectors, TB ,CAI,MAF. Headers, o/r x pipe.
Take the rear end (or whole car) to a axle/gear shop have them install 4.10, bearings and clutches.
Have it tuned . Should be 300 rwhp
