Does it get tapped in the same exact spot as the stock pan? but now it has a different pan with scraper and the bottom end of block has windage tray will the interfear with where i need to tap pan. Im in need of help with anyone that may have some information or experience with this set up will be appricated!

Trying to tap an oil pan is like eating a soup sandwich, I took a peice of 1/4 thick 2 inch square peice of steel drilled a hole in it for the oil return line then welded the bung to the 2 inch square plate.

Use the drilled plate as a templete and mark your pan, drill the return hole through the pan. I then made a gasket to fit between the plate and oil pan and used self tapping 1/4 inch bolts to go through the oil pan, no leaks and the return works fine, as far as location pick a spot up high on the oil pan nothing sticking through so it wont touch nothing or be in the way.....

Put it where it would go in the stock pan. Your pan will not interfere with it. Also if the pan is off the car I suggest welding the return line on.
