Default Zex 75hp nitrous kit,What else do you guys recomend?

Ok so I received a Zex nitrous kit from my gf today, I'm just planning on using the 75hp setting to try to keep it as reliable as possible. I already ordered the bottle heater and the purge kit and American Muscle is sending me the nitrous tune, what other items do you guys suggest to try to keep this setup reliable? Should I get lower temp spark plugs for this setting? Zex said that the 75hp setting is the most i should use with the factory plugs.

You really dont need colder plugs until you get to at least 100 shot.

Hope you enjoy, later I would try to move trust me you will see what I mean when your try the 75shot most people dont think it enough.

I agree, just go with the 125 shot and get a safe dynotune. The last thing you want is someone to beat you on the spray With the 75 shot, there will be quite a few that will.

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm going to be running nitrous soon and am just getting all my ducks in a row. I'm currently running Champion Spark plugs, but am concerned that they won't work with the juice. Does anyone know if I'll be safe with these?

Not sure about those, i run the autolite hto plugs. They are one stage colder. Might want to contact Champion and see if the advise against it.

I'm very weary about mail order tunes with nitrous. How do they know what condition your motor is in.

Please get it dynoed for safety......

Yup I agree there's no need to change your factory plugs on this one. Any updates with the thread starter?

125 shot and a good dyno tune is still a safe #.i dont trust them nitrious tunes they can get it close but with juice you want it on a dyno to monitor the a/f ratio. juice close is not good enough

I ran a 100 shot on a neon with NGK plugs and they were one step colder than stock and nver had a problem. I like the NGK plugs for their durability. Just my two cents.

I have the same plan after taking care of some lose ends.
Eg - Suspension, Exhaust, Bolt-Ons

I know with a dyno tune reputation is everything. Which leads me to ask if anyone knows of any reputable dyno companies in Calgary, AB Canada? I know I can just look in the yellow pages but my trust level is very low when it comes to my car, and things I can't do to it myself.

Oh and any preventative maintenance suggestions would be more then helpful. I realize that Nitrous is like anything and you can grow fond of more pretty fast. I'd like to build up for a 75hp shot, but be able to safely run a 125hp shot. Suggestions?

Thanks

one of the important things is maintaining bottle pressure....
