Default 80mm MAF too big for 6-8 psi of boost?

Is a 80mm MAF too big for 6-8lbs of boost? I was going to use 36,or 42lb injectors with 6-8 lbs of boost. I have stock MAF now witch is to small. Is it worth to upgrade to a 80mm

I run a 90mm but an 80mm would be ok for low boost and 42's would be the best way to go.

I would run the biggest MAF that I could if you are gone to be using it as draw through

I use a 90mm Lightning MAF on my 98 GT with only 5 to 6ish PSI, It tuned really well, however I knew that I would be going back later with smaller pulley and bigger injectors so I didnt want to buy a smaller one then later fork out the cash for a bigger one.

I agree totally, you wont be disapointed with a bigger MAF with a good tune.

I have a extra 90mm Lightning if you need one, 50 bucks.

I ran a stock 2000 GT 80mm MAF for about 20,000 miles with 5-6# of boost (9# at redline) and no issues on my Positive displacement twin screwed 4.6L.

I used 30# injectors without issues. I did upgrade later when I increased boost to 8# (12# at redline) to the 90mm Lightning MAF and 42# injectors.
