Default Vortech Air to Water/ Opinions on location to mount the inner-cooler

I have dumb question. Would it make a differene if I mounted the water tank in the hatch area. For the hell of it after driving car home i felt the water inside the tank it was hot obviously because its in the engine bay I know that.

Would it help with cooling at all if it was in the hatch or would the water just eventually become just as warm anyways but just a little bit slower pace?

Thanks

If you can mount it in a cooler place, then go for that. It'd just take more piping and fabrication but if you can do that, I think it'd be a good idea. It might heat up anywhere you put it but getting it out from the underhood heat might help it.

Probably not going to make much of a difference. The water would need to run through a cooler in the trunk for it to cool any more. Even w/ that theres no air flow in the trunk.

In one of my mustang mags they mounted in in the hatch....MMFF actually did an article on it while back. Just wasnt sure how much it would actually help if any.

THanks for the input

Do you have to fill yours w/ water? They probably did it for weight transfer and easier access.
