Default how difficult to tune a carbed blown motor

I have a carbed 302. I don't know much about power adders, and was wanting general info on tuning something like that with a super charger. Could you have something like that as a daily driver? How does it run and drive unitl it is fully warmed up? Will you get any type of decent mileage out of it. Basically I'm trying to figure out if its worth the trouble or should I just put the money into some afr heads and try to get the power that way. I'm looking for around 400 horse at the wheels. Any info would be appreciated thanks.

Someone who can tune a carb car without a blower can tune it with a blower. If you buy a centrifugal charger then it will not use any more gas then without one at all unless you have a heavy foot. That's the best part about a centrifugal supercharger . Noramlly the same goes with turbo but usually more $$ to install.

how does something like that drive? Does it act the same as a carbed car without a supercharger?

I am not sure if I understand that question. A centrifugal supercharger runs basicly like a standard carb car unless you start spinning high RPM's. Some will make boost at low RPM's with larger pullies. It's all the way they are set up but you must have a blow through carb made for forced induction. You can't just slap a supercharger on a carbed car that has a stock or standard Holley carb. So depending on what your funds look like it may be better for you to purchase a good set of heads.
