I have decided I don't have enough $$$ or time to get a supercharger to run properly.
That gives me about $700 to spend on a nitrous setup. Here is the car:
Please tell me how to spend this money properly on a kit, such as NX. I've been told NX is one of the best, so that's what I want (obviously, the best). I'd like some safety items also, to prevent detonation etc.
Please tell me how to go. Used is OK.
1995 Mustang GT 76,000 miles
Windsor Jr Heads
E303 Camshaft
Explorer Upper/lower intake
1.6 Proform RR's
World Product Double Springs
65mm BBK throttle Body
77mm Pro-M MAF w/ K&N
MAC Shorty Headers
Offroad H-Pipe
Flowmasters 2 Chamber 40 Series
MSD 6A and MSD Coil
15 Degrees Timing (93 Octane)
BBK Underdrive Pulleys
Kirban Adjustable FPR
BBK 255lph Fuel Pump
Other non engine mods are:
4.10 FMS Gears
FMS Subframe Connectors
FMS Aluminum Driveshaft
Lakewood Driveshaft Loop
Mickey Thompson ET Streets
King Cobra Clutch
Pro 5.0 Power Tower
Steeda Clutch Quadrant, Cable, and Firewall Adjuster
Optima Red Top
Go with the NX kit. You'll need a fuel pressure switch unless the kit comes with one. Back you timming down a couple of degrees.
DON'T BUY NOS unless you like going back for missing pieces

try Venom. They have a sensor that cut the flow of NO2 if it sense your running rich or lean. I would love to know more about this kit but haven't been able to get any feedback.

I'm sure it seems typical I would suggest the kit I have, but it really is a great kit. I have the Ford stage 1 kit adjustable from 35-150rwhp. I also have the stage 2 upgrade kit which includes the fully automatic bottle heater (cuts on and off automatically to keep it between 900 and 1050psi.), nitrous pressure guage, fuel pressure safety switch, purge kit, and safety blowdown tube.
I bought it used from a guy off of the corral.net for $550 including shipping. The best thing about Nitrous Express is their warranty. They have a lifetime warranty on the cylinoids (spelling). I don't know about the length of the warranties for anything else, but I thought my bottle heater element burnt up and I called NX to figure out what it was. Well, I couldn't get it working at the time and they said just send it to them and they will send me another one free. I did get it working though, darn ground wire.
Just watch and wait and you will get a good deal if you act quick. I checked about 5 times a day and caught a fresh thread and it was MINE!!

On a dry kit with your mods, you may want 30lb injectors as I have similar mods and leaned out a 125 shot. Just my two cents. I would also strongly suggest a switch chip from Autologig or Diablo, that was you can hav a nice fat rich tune for the gas and a nice lean na tune..best of both wolrds. PLEASE have a dyno tune before you get on the gas on the street..I have heard way to many horror stories. All in all, I love the Zex kit..idiot proof, which I need. But have heard great things about NOS and NX.
