you can run up to a 100 shot safely on your stock 5.0

the secret of n2o use is staying on top of your tune

i highly recommend upgrading your fuel system prior to spraying the car

Around 100 HP you will probably have to retard the timing a bit to avoid detonation.

what exactly is wide open throttle. does that mean if the pedal is to the floor the n2o kicks in? that does look like a great kit thanks

I got the ZEX dry kit. Fairly easy to install. You have to run the line from the bottle (trunk) to the engine compartment. The ZEX module itself will need a toggle switch in the interior to turn on the module and a power/ground line to the module. You will also have to splice into you TPS (throttle position sensor) so that the module knows when you are at WOT. Thats about it.
The nitrous nozzle itself should go ahead of your throttle body so there is a even distribution of nitrous to all cylinders. If you buy an aftermarket (non-ZEX) nitrous plate for your manifold it could cause un-even distribution of the nitrous. If you want a nitrous plate buy the one that is designed for that application like the one ZEX sells. It is half as much as the kit , so I don't think it is worth it. My system worked fine just tapping into the Cold air intake.

N2O on stock motors are fine but like Reggie said you need to stay on top of the tune up. In the past I have had both a NX wet kit and a NOS dry kit. The dry kits are easier to set up because there are no fuel likes to run. On the stock motor with a 100 dry shot I used 1 heat range colder plugs and ran 9* initial timing. Remember each motor is different and when working with N2O use baby steps so you don't blow stuff up.
