Question supercharger combination ok with 347 stroker??

I am planning on building a 347 stroker and I want to add a set of GT-40 P (fully ported and polished) heads to the engine. The cam that I have right now is an E-303 but will consider a bigger cam. I am also using a 1.6 ratio rocker but have thought about using a 1.7 ratio. I have other mods also such as an Edelbrock upper and lower, 70 mm t-body, and more.. My question is, sometime down the road I would like to purchase a supercharger for this setup. Would the supercharger run alright with these heads? I head that my GT-40 P heads have a 58.2 cc chamber. Will this cause too much compression for the blower? I am trying to think ahead so I dont have to go back and redue things.

I would go with a 331 stroker, a 347 might not hold long with the supercharger. The reason is that on a 347 the pistons are quite unstable, the rods are in such an angle at half the stroke that the pistons literally push against the side of the bore.

If using the P heads i would check the comp.ratio first, dont want more than 9.5:1.
You can lower compression by porting the head chambers or using low comp pistons. Most good strokers will give you a choice of low or high comp pistons.

Thanks for the info. I am not planning on supercharging now but its always nice to think ahead. The 347 stroker kit i found had said something to the effect of: 64cc at 9.5:1 (or something like that) and 60 cc at around 10.5:1 That is why I wondered because if this is correct then if my GT-40 heads are 58.2 cc then I am looking at more compression then what I really want. By the way, what do u think of the cam on just a standard 347 without supercharging? Will this be enough or do u think I should get like an X-303 or something bigger from Trick Flow etc.??

The E303 and the P heads are both rather weak for a 347. I would look to replace both. The comp. extreme cams are nice of the shelf cams.
