This kit is great! I am the owner of the mustang on the pics they are using. Obviosly there is no such thing has a bolt on kit, but there were no MAYOR modifications needed. I sent them a a installation guide and will be available shortly. The turbo sounds great(appears to be Garrett), the blow-off(Tial) and wastegate(Tial) also sound awsome. I definitely recommend it, especially for the price it's at which won't be at that price for long soo better take advantage.

Is it really as good as you say or are you affiliated with them? I just can't get my mind around the price. Any respectable kit out there for our year mustang is at least 4 grand. Why is it so cheap? What kind of power did you get out of it? Any dyno results?

At 6 psi my car made 412 rwhp untuned still waiting on some $$$ so I can finally get it tuned. I was one of the first ones to buy the kit and to have it installed, so they used my pics as an example of their kit installed on a customers car.

Thumbs up Boost Brothers 95 Kit

I rcvd the kit from them a couple weeks ago. Been a Nitrous guy forever, making the switch.
I have not started the install yet, got a couple other projects to finish first.
I DID open all the boxes and check out all the pieces.
I was a lil weary about what I was going to recv. Price seemed too low for anything nice, but I figured I'd give it a shot and worst case, have some parts to use to make my own kit.

WELL to say I was surprised would be a huge understatement. I was floored!!!
I cannot believe how nice the kit is. Welds, materials used, even the packaging. Can't wait to get it installed. I really don't know how they can sell this kit for that price. If I get some extra cash in the next few weeks I WILL buy another kit. (I have 4 - 95's)

I was hoping to be able to make 500 RWHP. I have a stock lower with Windsor Sr Heads, Pro Intake, 42lb inj and an Anderson PMS in the car now. Has made 487rwhp with @ a 150 shot of juice.
AM hoping 500 will not be a struggle.

be careful if they are the stainless kits they have a tendency to crack check out a few of the post over at the turbo forums. You should also check out BG turbos and Pony down they make nice made kits also. and last time I heard BG was selling most of his stuff cheaper due to the fact most of the cheaper kits stole his design and he is a bit pissed so he is beating them on price.

can anyone with a little more reputation around the forum confirm any of this? Not judging anyone its just they could have people working for the company whos job is to go out onto forums and promote it. I ask because im very interested in a complete turbo kit for my 95'. And there price is amazing, but then again skeptical.
Just dont wanna be ripped off.

Check out the Corral net they have a post in the turbocharger section on the kits most say they have been OK but cracks are not gone to show up in a week or even 2 give the stuff a year and that will tell the whole story if they do or don't.most of what they are saying for the money they are good deal. but look at the turbo forums also. I have a cartech kit and it has cracked 2 times so far around the wastegate mount but it maybe my fault due to me not supporting it and the pipe just floats I did not run it back in to the exhaust I am gone to make a support this time but the rest of the kit has had no issues at all in 2 years of running it. All you can do is read the forums and hope for the best or spend the $$$ for a better name kit with more of a warranty. the old rule is you get what you pay for comes into play a lot.

Talking boost brothers

for everyone who has wondered about the boost brothers kit. i just bought one a week ago,i installed it on a fox body instead. you will have to remove the sway bar an mount on drivers side. i am running 18lbs and making over 650. the quality of the parts is unbelievable.they look better than some of the top names. the turbo is pretty good, cant compare to a turbonetics ball bearing, but its good. everything fit like a glove, the only thing is dont use the exhaust manifold gaskets that come with it,they dont line up. but its worth every dime . i honestly dont see how they are selling them so cheap.i would buy another one any day. if you have any questions let me know,or email me trocktbone@aol.com these arent cheap stainless pieces either. they look better than alotof major brands outh there. the blow off valve works the same ass the tial, trust me my buddy has one and he was made.i had mine ceramic coated for protection. its just an awsome deal.you would save alot of money by buying this kit and upgrading the turbo. but it will do the job unless you need 800hp. but to pay 3 or 4 thousnad dollars not wise. 1300+600master power t76. 1900 for an awsome kit. cant beat it. i am giving boost brother mad props, just need better customer service.

Default not to sure about it myself

every forum ive read not just here, these guys who are saying these things are great, they post the exact same post on other forums as well. word for word.. so im thinking maybe these guys work for boostbrothers. i mean if i had gotten the kit and u guys asked me about it u would get a different responce each time, i wouldnt sit and copy and paste the exact same thing on every forum thats been posted about boosted brothers.. all im saying is sounds fishy to me. i dont think ill go with it myself, id rther spend couple more thousand for the good stuff..

Default Just installed it myself 95 5.0

I just finished the install, it absolutely isn't a bolt-on, but it wasn't all that bad either in retrospect (took me about 100 hrs.). Seriously don't know why they don't provide instructions with the kit. The headers, pipes, etc., are all incredibly well-made, as others have said. The turbo, wastegate, and BOV are knock-offs but seem reasonably high-quality. They've got fire-sale recession-prices on these things, but I got my kit in less than a week, and it was incredibly complete. For a few hundred bucks I can add a real Tial and used Garrett if I experience problems with the knock-offs (not enough time to tell) and still come out way ahead of the game. We'll see about the cracking over time - - though these are thick-walled headers with some beautiful TIG welds and they added a flex-tube in the crossover pipe which is a major cause of heat-expansion cracking when both sides of the exhaust are tied-together.

I added Python 36lb injectors and a PRO-M MAF, with an adjustable fuel-pressure regulator and a 255lph fuel pump (this kit can only be installed blow-through-MAF since the turbo points frontwards which has its advantages anyways when using a BOV). I used the stock EGR sensor as a CEL eliminator (pushed in half-way) and had to lengthen the wires to the O2 sensors. I added a stronger coil and gapped-down the plugs to .042 to avoid blowing out the flames. The stock fuel system can hit maybe 300hp, this kit is good for far more (search the forums for more on the fuel system). Spent about $600 for the fuel parts in addition to the kit. Plus about another $100 for miscellaneous parts. It's completely untuned presently, though it's not running rich and not detonating so I have a decent base to start from. It's also seriously fast now.

Also, if you can't weld, cut, or grind metal you'll need some serious help - - this isn't a bolt-on by any stretch. If you're leaning towards an FMU or boost-a-pump to avoid dropping the tank or replacing injectors, those were very easy compared to the kit install.

PM me if you have any specific questions (yeah I'm a Rookie to the forums but I've been working on Stangs for 25 years including a 66, Mustang II, and my current 95GT, and I don't work for BB either).
