I recently put a supercharger on my car and was wondering where does the boost gauge hook up at in the engine compartment. I have it hooked up to the plenum is that right? when I start the car it shows 10 to the vacume side (left side) should it do that and only show boost when driving? Kinda a dum question but I am totaly new to the supercharger world Thanks!!
Yes, you will only build boost as rpm comes up. Your max rated boost will only occur at wide open throttle and higher rpm. Mine makes max at about 4300 rpm.

I have now changed to GT-500 wheels and tires to allow for the install of the Ford Racing 14" Brembo brake set-up.
Since you don't mention what car you have I'll assume it's a fox. I used the closed off S/C port on my vacuum tree which is right next to the wiper motor. It's fitting that Ford made an extra tee with the S/C (supercharger?) moniker. I pull about 20" of vacuum at idle. I do have a cam but the lobe center is pretty tight. The more pedal you give it the farther the needle goes to the right until you level off.

if you have a 99-04 most people hook the "t" up to the vacuum hose coming off the back of the plenum. at idle you should be reading about 18in/hg of vacuum. what type of supercharger do you have and what year stang?

On the 99+ GT another good place to tie into is to add a "T" to the line that comes off your fuel pressure sensor on the driver's side fuel rail. The type of blower and cam grind will make a difference on the vacuum seen at idle. I have a twin screw P/D blower and see 21" at idle with the stock cams/heads.
