With all the slang flying around its more of an abreviation.
BUT luckily alot of mustang guys i talk to say "yes its got alittle nitrous in it" and i say "oh? just a little bit?" and theyre like "yeaa...just alittle bit"
but I understand your frustration.
Somebody get this man a Dr.Pepper.
I say that all the time......
or if asked am i spraying.....
the standard answer "just a tad"

NOS is used by those who've seen the F&F movies too many times. It's gotten to slang status, to use nahssss. It's annoying to hear all nitrous systems referred to as nahssss. Speak English, dammit.

I agree ,young punks call it NOS. They are usally driving a Honda or a Subaru. Spraying Nitrous is all you have to say , how hard is it to say 4 more letters. The younger generation will take the easy way every time. Go figure.

I really hate Ricers myself, BUT... People have been calling it NOS way before the Ricers came out.
There were no ricers in the 70's and it was called NOS then.
It was called NOS for one simple fact. N.O.S was the only company that had a kit on the market. There was no ZEX, Nitrous Express, or any of that way back in the day.
I do agree with you all though, it does get very lame when you hear "Hey man you should put some NAWSssss on your car dude"
