 Vortech V-1 changed tone is this normal?
I have a Vortech V-1 Sc-trim on my 5.0 1991 Mustang GT. I recently goosed it onto the highway and almost instantly after reaching highway speed I noticed that the supercharger was making a different noise then it normally does.
At idel it has a lower pitched whirring sound insted of the light whistle like it normally does.
THen the noise changes to a higher pitched screaming and increases in DB as the revs go up insted of becoming silent like it supposed to at higher RPMS.
The Tech's @ Vortech are worthless drones. Any things to check before I have to unbolt it and send it back?(on my dime). |
