Default Turbo Questions

My brother has a 95 GT convertible and his only mods are an aftermarket exhaust. what all would he need to put a turbo on his car. i dont know how much boost this turbo would make. the kit is from boost-brothers. would he need to put forged components in the bottom end? and probably an aftermarket fuel system right?

the link to boost-brothers ebay store is right here.

eBay Seller: boost-brothers: Parts Accessories items on eBay Motors

and if you dont recomend this kit, are there any others that you do?

thanks
-jake

i suspected that. alot of them did seem kind of fishy. this is not a universal one though. they even named the tools you would need and offer a warranty. so i figured i would see what you guys think. i just realized that the item is probably not up for auction anymore but the website is

Since it’s the first experience with air induction system, go for vortech supercharger $2,500, the full kit including every things. And you can install it by your self , save some money. I did that

The vortech v1 s-trim designed for stock engine, if you want more boost for modified engine, only change the supercharge pulley.

$ 800 = no headache

if you want a turbo kit check out B&G turbos they can help you out with a cheap china made kit like the Boost Bros. or you can get one of his nice America made kits for a bit more . He also offers warranties on all of his products China made or America made

I would recommend a turbo over a sc anyday. Doesnt matter if he has experience with a force induction or not. He can install a turbo himself too. I had no experience with F/I and i did it. The only thing that is tricky is tuning it. Thats when you leave it to the pros.
