Has anyone with an earlier 5.0 88-93 run a Kenne Bell supercharger? Either the standard 1500 or the 2200 Blowzilla.It seems like thay would be great choice for a nice street Stang.Great torque and instant power.With the positive supercharger, there's really no need to go deep on the gear set.

Any pros or cons to running a Kenne Bell compared to a centrifugal supercharger? I'd like mid 12 second quarter mile times.The thought of a 2200 Blowzilla,aluminum heads 2.02/1.64, Kenne Bell boost control,MSD box, 5 speed with 3.55 gears and catted x pipe and borla mufflers.How does the combo sound

Back when B&M had their 174ci super charger I ran a few of them. They do make instant power. Down side was no inner cooler. I fixed that with a 75hp shot of nitrous oxide. The car ran 10.80's all day with a C-4 trans and 3.27 gears in the rear and 28x9 slicks. So yes I would go for it.......

The KB makes good power.....

with one you shouldn't have any problems getting into the 12's or quicker....

just be sure to upgrade the suspension to handle the added power.....

+1. The KB makes good power indeed. But now I'm using whipple supercharger on my ride, and I'm more satisfied with it.

I have had a kennebell on my 99 truck for 3 years now and it runs like a charm. tons of power and no issues with the computer like I have had with other companies. I love it.
