my dad and I have installed 3 superchargers now. the one on my 1965 coupe, the original holley thunder supercharger on my truck ( it has been changed to a kennebell, and I did not install it.) and just recently a powerdyne supercharger onhis 94. takes a fair amount of time if you have not done it in order to make sure you read the instructions carefully and then always lots of tweaks and things to sort out once it is on. but it is mostly a matter of reading instructions and doing what it says. not as much art involved as things like tuning carbs or setting valves. those things I still am not much good at.
