I don't think it will work to well... the 3.8 is a pushrod V6 while the 4.0 is an SOHC (see the difference here:
http://www.samarins.com/glossary/dohc.html). Also, the 3.8 in the supercoupe was a single-port intake, while I think the 4.0 is a split-port intake. So, the engines are quite different from each other.
FYI - the supercoupe had an Eaton M90 roots style SC, which mounts on top of the intake, so intake design is key.
Now, there is probably a way to make it work with a bit of customization... ya know, some kind of adapter plate or custom tubing. Even so, that is an older SC. There are newer, better SCs out there that would make more sense to adapt to, and I'm sure there are existing kits (procharger, vortech, etc) which include everthing.
Just curious: what prompted this idea?
