428 engine in 1999-2004 Mustang body fit?

So I've looked at a looked at mutliple options for increasing my overall horsepower.. and sure I can drop 5k on a vortech or roush supercharger.. but what about just getting a 427/8 crate motor?

I haven't found anything that says it would be a 'perfect fit' but has anyone seen this done? would it work with my standard 2001 5 speed manual transmission. for the price I can't think of anything better than a 'edge' body style witha 427/8 engine.. Ohhh...

Ha! Just read a 'reader letter' in a magazine saying he was tired of being "teased" with the new CobraJet and wanted to know when they would drop them in production.. the magainze's response was never, it's cost prohibitive.. just go buy a base V6 05+ mustang and do it yourself..

Just drop in a 94-95 K memeber, re-do some of the fuel system, put in a T-5 tranny and driveshaft. probably a few more things to do of course.
