there is more to it then just slapping on twin turbos...yes it can be done but my question is WHY? IMO the specialty vehicles that Ford is putting out will one day be collectors items. Why ruin it with twin turbos.

i so agree, i saw a cobra R with all these mods and it was fast and all but i was like why??
What would you rather have now, an ALL original 67 shelby GT 350, or the same car but modded out for complete racing..?
I must argue, for the racers side, the mach 1 would be completly bad ass with twins, i personally would shoot an estimate of 450hp atleast.

The Mach 1 has an all aluminum block too don't you forget. Yeah it's good for a 13.1 at 106mph stock. Doesn't take to much to get her in the low 12's eather. They like 4.30 gears. If you can get a hold of 5.0 Mustang and fast Fords they have done planty of stuff with the Mach. When it first came out. They got it in the High 11's I beleave. Last month they did and artical on a Mach with a single turbo. Had like 8lbs of boost. Put out mid 400ph range. I beleave. I don't have mag near me right now to get right number. Anyone ever drive one. I drove one at work. It was the best experience ever. Thing made my car feel like my Explorer when I went to drive home after work. Nice car. I love it.
You can't tell how much power something is going to make until you at least know how much boost your going to run. Boost PSI isn't really what's important anyways, it's CFM.
Collecter car or not, you could put twin turbos on it, nitrous, whatever you want, not sure why you think it would ruin it, Just keep the stock parts. That Mach 1 engine is one strong powerplant. If I had it I wouldn't keep it stock. I would have bought one but my salesperson lied to me and said they didn't come in an auomatic. Hell ya soup that thing up, just save everything that comes off it, bolts, brackets, everything. That is if you ever plan to sell it.

All depends if I had the cars original part to put it back to original after I was done playing. Your telling me if you had a Cobra R, you wouldn't touch it, PLEASE!!!!
