what gears do most people run with a s/c? I have 3.73's and am thinking about going back to 3.55's.

difference between 3.55 and 3.73 are not too much,

wat rpm, gear, speed do you trap at?

if you make enough hp, it might be a good idea to drop down to 3.55s

don't have the s/c on yet. I'll be runnin upwards around 500 rwhp I believe.

I would not swap them out till you tried what you got.

I have 4-10 and at the track i run out of gear about 1000 ft with 26'' street tires.my motor can and does pull all the way but it puts me @7000 rpm and motor will not live as long at 7000 like it would at 6500 .so i would love to try 373 they would be good all around gear.that my 2 cents good luck

What SC would you be running? Some put power out in the lower band, numerically lower gear wanted. Some in the higher band, numerically higher gear wanted.
I have 3.55's but i'm going to 4.10's. It's not really for the track though.

I am running 373's with my set up. Haven't ran a 1/4 yet, but in the 1/8 i'm pulling 7000+ in 3rd through the traps. I had 410's before and was shifting into 4th in the 1/8. My car actually ran slower in the 1/8 with the 410's..... I have a set of 355's coming and i'll see what it does with them.
