more like taking away HP's by using them. 1300 cfm on a stock 78is way too much. You'll need a biger cam than those penut cams that ford use in the late 70. and you'll need to bump up the compresion to about 9.5 or higher to be able to use the cam.
If you want to run dual carbs, go with two 450cfm and a larger cam.
