Default Tuning solution needed

Ok guys, i need my car tuned for a new blower pulley and decided i didn't want to continue doing business with the shop that has done the tuning in the past. I was going to take it to Anderson Ford in Clinton, but Rick tells me he no longer sells the PMS for my car and his Predator software doesn't support the 96-98 cobra. I was looking into the Tweecer r/t and hear it has quite the steep learning curve. I have also looked into the Moates Quarterhorse. What other tuning options do i have??? I would like to have a controller to make adjustments as i need to, so trying to avoid a chip. The car is currently tuned with Sniper software. I am not that happy with it or my past tuner. What do you guys suggest???

Thanks!

You can still find the anderson motorsports pms online for sale. Im not sure why they would tell you that they dont have one for you.

For one thing, I would find a reputable SCT Tuner. SCT does support your 96-98 Cobra, the code should be CCA1 correct. That's what I use on my 96 SVT Cobra Convertible, I've been using SCT Software almost since they began. You could purchase an SCT X-3, also if you have tuning experience you could purchase SCT Advantage 3 Software then you could make all the changes you need. Tell SCT what you have for a car, then if you purchase the Advantage 3 Software your code will be in it, Mike. SCT Tuner.

Rick told me they still sell for the 95 and older 5.0 cars, but were not selling for my car, which has the modular 4 valve with coil pack ignition. He told me the pms for the coil pack is different than the pms for the coil on plug design. He also told me not many of them were produced and sold making it hard to find a used one for my car. I have searched the net and found nothing.......

I think i've heard of a place up around the Chicago area that tunes with sct. I will look into the advantage 3 software as well. Thanks for the info .

Anybody else have any ideas???

Your welcome. I would sell you my Dealer Software, but I don't think you want to spend that kind of money. Besides the Advantage 3, is a lot cheaper. I just tune my own now, which is an 04 Cobra Screaming Yellow, 04 Screaming Yellow MACH1, 01 White SVT Lightning, 03 Black Marauder, and a 96 SVT Cobra Convertible. And I have a ton of tune files, to go with each one N/A and Blown, Mike. SCT Tuner.
