i dont think theres any reason why a competent british tuner couldnt do it, and as far as getting it done at a dealership (unless its a SVT certified shop there not really going to know how to tune a supercharger and even if it is their experiance is going to be with the roots type which is what the cobra and lightning use.)i wouldnt do it. go to a performance shop that deals with performance cars, especially supercharged cars.

Actually you can do it yourself if you have a wide band o2 sensor and either a piggyback computer or an aftermarket computer...and you follow the advice of the people selling you the supercharger....and you are willing to do the work...

To your original question... I'v seen as much as 12lbs on a stock engine and heard of 14lbs but I'm sure people have pushed them further yet (just keep your tune safe).
I'm running 119.5 MPH which will put me in a 420-450rwhp range. I have a Novi 1000 making 10lbs, I'm using the stock block and internals, stock cam, shorty headers with 2.5" all the way back. Edelbrock heads and intake, 65mm tb, 75mm MAF. I'm running 42lb injectors and using a 190 lph fuel pump. Stock ignition other then an MSD blaster coil. I'v never had a problem, this is daily driven and abused hard at the track. I just make sure that the tune is safe with a Tweecer.

To give you another example of what will give you what power. My buddy's 94 with nothing but an S-trim on making 8lbs made 313 to the wheels on a mustang dyno. Also using a tweecer and I think 30lb injectors with FMU.
He is now making 12lbs (I mentioned him above) no new numbers though

The tune needs to be really safe on a 5.0... They will pop a head gasket the first time you detonate.

I'd say 8 lbs with a proper tune on 91 octane should be ok.
