Default Are 42's overkill?

I recently purchased a KB w/ GT-40 lower so I'm having to change lower intakes. Since I'm having to do this should I go ahead and get new injectors? I was thinking of 42's w/o FMU, a 190 or 255 pump, and chip to make it work. It does have stock heads but was figuring on down the road of getting a stroker motor and wanted to try and get items that would be good on stroker but still be driveable on the stock motor. Thanks for any help.

42's are deffinitely way too big . With what your running , the stock injectors will work fine . If anything , you could just get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator . But you really dont need one yet

By KB do you mean Kenny Bell blower?... I've got 42lb injectors with my setup... I think you'd be ok with anywhere between 30 and 42 lb injectors. But that's if you got the KB blower. Remember, you just gotta get everything to work together.

Yeah it's a Kenne Bell. Is it only the 42's that you don't need to use the FMU? One more thing, does anyone know where to look to see what kind on diaphram is in the FMU? That way I know if it's 12:1, 10:1, etc. Thanks.

I would say to call the company that made the FMU... There may be some sort of part number on it to tell you what exactly it is.

I'd planned on 6# while on the stock motor and run a KB boost-a-pump. Just curious...if you get bigger injectors and say you have a meter and sensor for that size injectors would you still need a chip for the ECU since it was for different size injectors? Thanks.
