Default ATI procharger

Alright I have a 2001 mustang GT with a magnaflow cat-back and thats it. I am thinking about supercharging my car but am wondering how people do with the stock internals and how long they last because I don't want to blow my engine. I think I want to get the P1-SC procharger stage 2 kit with the 3 core intercooler. I like the idea of self contained oil. How many people run the P1-SC blower and how well does it hold up. I am looking for good driveability because it is a daily driver but i do love hitting the gas, can't help it. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated, maybe some people's setups? Oh and I'm also wondering will a focus fuel pump feed an 8 psi blower, i don't plan on going over 400 HP and if i do it won't be on the stock motor?
Thanks Dan

Matt's car rocks. Same setup you're looking for.

That's a crappy dyno pull... But ya... I make some really good power. Driveability is great. If you have any questions about, just ask me.

what were all the extras that you had to buy that didn't come with the kit Matt? Did you get the stage 2 kit and how has the blower been for you? Has it given you any problems whatsoever? Are you running it at 8 psi? Can i use the focus fuel pump instead of the cobras as I don't ever plan on running over 8 pounds of boost and if i do i will get a whole new built motor? What does it involve to put in the cobra pumps, do you need an 03 cobra tank?
Sorry for all the questions but your setup is pretty sweet Matt.
Also anywhere I could get the stuff for cheap would be great as I am a college student.
Thanks Dan

Take a look at the Allen Supercharger kits. Good power with OEM quality.

Procharger---------------$3250
Install---------------------$100 and a case of beer (had a friend help me out I paid him for his day off work)
Guages-------------------$250 ish with the pod (installed em myself)
Dyno tune---------------$495 (included chip) This varies depending on where you go.
New MAF----------------$500 Bought one that was screwed up, had to get another. I just had em swap it cause I couldn't go through the people I originally went through to get it for a warranty. Long story.
Spark Plugs--------------$75-100 (I've bought so many sets for tuning, it's not even funny)
Belt------------------------$30 (each time you break it)
Injectors------------------$300

I'd also say there was a couple hundred in odds and ends that I needed. I know I'm forgetting some stuff. But that's what I can think of right now. I also got screwed outta some money, but hey **** happens. That MAF was a bum deal. I'm pissed about that.

The procharger kits come with a fuel pump... It's fine, you don't need any other fuel pump. You don't need another tank. Yes, I'm running 8 PSI... I see 12 PSI on my gauge, but my motor actually doesn't flow the extra boost. I looked into it. Oh ya, I did get the upgraded three core intercooler. Plan on getting a dyno tune. The chip that comes with it had excellent driveability but detonated at a couple pounds of boost. They run a really screwed up timing curve.

Check into getting the Kenne Bell Boost a pump instead of the focus pump. They out perform the focus pumps and they're cheaper.

Very smart, right after I installed my blower, a piston went bye bye! Make sure you use a qualified tuner. Any detonation is horrible for your powdermetal pistons.
